Well... what a whirlwind! So much has happened since my last post. Moving was insane and we got so much done in such a short period of time! I am so pleased with what we can get done when have really have to chip in and do what we can for our family! It would be a lie if I said that there was no tear shed during this time! I think all of us cried at least once. We were tired and stressed and just plain and simple didn't want to move. Nothing about it was something any of us wanted to do. But... we got it done. We are getting there... We had to get a storage unit and slowly but surely having to get more and more moved in there. Thankfully we have a little bit of room for growth there.
All and all, we are getting settled in. It's A LOT smaller than the old place, so that has been taking some getting used to. I'm not sure that we are ever going to get used to it, but hopefully that will give us some motivation to buy a home sooner than later!
And... Just to make my life more complicated, I decided to get a new job. This has been something that has been in the works for a while now. Even though I have only been at the last job for a little over a year, for the last six months I have just not been happy. There has been a lot of communication issues between me and my formal boss. I had run into issues that I never really ran into before. I have always been a hard worker and never really had to convince anyone of that. It just always showed organically. Unfortunately I didn't see a way for my boss to trust and respect me. Although I had been honest and transparent, I didn't feel like I was ever going to get through. Sometimes, some people just aren't meant to communicate.
I moved on to a new adventure! It's been really hectic to say the least.
Between the move and the new job, I am craving some normalcy. Hopefully that comes sooner than later. Wish me luck!
